Although realistically rendered, Honor Kever’s dreamlike paintings have a sense that not everything is as it seems. Her images are pared down to quiet moments, sometimes punctuated by small movements, and charged with moods that range from foreboding to transcendent.
Honor Kever has exhibited across Canada and the United States; her work has been written about in multiple catalogues, journals, and resource publications. She is represented in public collections including the Canada Council Art Bank, the Remai Modern Collection, the SK Arts Permanent Collection, and the University of Saskatchewan Permanent Collection, as well as in many private collections.
