Description
“Way Out There” by Ernie Klinger is a deceptively simple monochrome abstract landscape drawing. In hues of mainly brown and white it shows an apparently ordinary Quonset hut isolated on the winter prairie. But as we look at it more closely, we’re drawn into its mystery. This building looks somehow inhabited, with curtains at the windows and a chimney letting smoke. Is this a home, we wonder. And why?
