From 2.9 Billion Birds Series
“The birds are part of an ongoing project in response to research showing that almost 3 billion North American birds have vanished since 1970. From Bowl Series
“A few small objects are placed in relation to one another…each holds a feeling of solitude, even loneliness—how one might feel in a new place that is not yet home.“
From Floating Universe Series

From The Dawson City Series
“This work came from a period of transition as I moved my life from New York City to Saskatoon and explored my new surroundings, especially the tumbling down, dilapidated farms and homesteads. I wondered, did the family just get up from the table mid-meal and walk out onto the prairie? In an artist residency in Dawson City, I came to realize how this reflected my own experience, leaving behind the places and objects that shape a home and a life.”
