HOW DO I BUY ART ONLINE?
It’s easy! All artworks can be purchased with your major credit card, using the shopping cart attached to each piece. And you can view all artworks in sample rooms before you make a decision.
DO I HAVE OPTIONS FOR PAYMENT?

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH ARTISTS AND ARTWORKS ARE THE BEST INVESTMENT?
In buying art, the best investment is the piece you love and want to live with. No one can predict art markets, so the person whose vision you need to satisfy is your own. If you want to know more about any of the artists who show with Grasslands Gallery Online, we’re pleased to tell you about about them, including their exhibition history and art practice, and whether the artist is emerging, mid-career, or a senior artist with exposure nationally or internationally.
HOW IS ARTWORK PRICED?
Grasslands Gallery Online works directly with our artists to determine pricing. We consider an artist’s exhibition and sales history, their career level, and the size and materials of their work. Prices for an individual artist’s work are intended to be consistent throughout North America and around the world, because artists with reputable dealers will have work of the same material, period and scale priced equally whether it is for sale in Saskatchewan, Ontario, or New York.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE SHIPPING?
We ship worldwide and we use Canada Post for shipping. If you’re not at home when the work arrives, you’ll receive an email or a notice of delivery, and you may have to pick up the shipment at your local post office. In the case of larger shipments, other arrangements may be made.
Some artworks may also have an option for local pickup/delivery. Please inquiry at firstname.lastname@example.org before purchase.
HOW LONG WILL MY PURCHASE TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We do our best to deliver your purchase as soon as possible. Artwork purchased from Grasslands Gallery Online is lovingly shipped from the artist to you in a timely fashion; in most cases, your piece is packaged and en route within 10 days, usually less. We will be in touch with you and the artist to ensure you are kept informed of timelines. Please note, art shipped outside Canada may take two to four weeks for delivery after it has left the artist’s studio, depending on the destination country.
CAN I ENTER A DIFFERENT ADDRESS TO SHIP TO THAN THE ONE ATTACHED TO MY CREDIT CARD?
Please note that the address information you enter for shipping must match your bank’s credit card records. If you receive any error messages, about this or anything else, please feel free to get in touch.
CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN SHIPPER?
Grasslands Gallery Online uses Canada Post because all our artists have access to it. Not all of our artists live in cities where they can use courier companies, but everyone has access to Canada Post, bless its little corporate heart. Besides which, Canada Post rates are competitive and the company delivers to everywhere in the world .
WILL MY PURCHASE BE INSURED WHEN IT SHIPS?
All purchases will be carefully packaged, and all shipments are fully insured within Canada. International shipments are fully insured to a maximum of $1,000 (the highest international insurance rate Canada Post will allow).
GST/PST or HST will be charged to applicable orders and shipping within Canada. Artwork shipped outside Canada may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees upon delivery. International customers, please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes.
IF I DON’T LIKE MY ART WHEN I RECEIVE IT, CAN I RETURN IT?
Grasslands Gallery Online does not accept returns; all sales are final. It wouldn’t be fair to the artists if it were otherwise. We do our best to show artworks as accurately as possible but you should be aware that almost every screen in the world will make a piece appear slightly differently. If anything, our art looks even better in person but if you have any concerns or questions, please get in touch with the gallery at email@example.com . We want to be sure you will be happy with your art acquisition.
I‘M INTERESTED IN AN ARTWORK THAT’S OFFERED UNFRAMED. CAN YOU FRAME IT FOR ME?
Because artworks purchased from Grasslands Gallery Online are shipped directly from the artists’ studios, the answer is, “It depends.” Our artists live in a wide variety of locations so some artists have easier access to framing than others. And even in locations when there is access, your needs for framing may be different from what the artist can offer. As always, if you want to explore possibilities, please ask!
HOW DO I KNOW THE ARTISTS ARE BEING TREATED FAIRLY?
Grasslands Gallery Online is an Associate Member of SaskGalleries, the Saskatchewan Professional Art Dealers Association. This means we have agreed to follow the organization’s Membership Code of Ethics, conducting business according to the highest professional, ethical and financial standards. Among other stipulations, we agree to pay artists properly and in a timely manner; price art fairly and in line with national and international standards; and maintain detailed records of all business operations including agreements with artists. HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHICH ARTWORK WILL LOOK BEST IN MY ROOM?
Grasslands Gallery Online is pleased to offer the opportunity to view each artwork in a sample room. The rooms are individually chosen for each artwork, so you can see it accurately and in a setting that’s most like one you might hang it in. Just click on the piece you’re interested in and then on View in a Sample Room in that artwork product page. You’ll be taken right to a popup showing sizing relative to other objects in the room, as well as options to see what the work might look like framed.
