It’s Saskatchewan Art Gallery Day on June 11, 2022 and you could win big! But first…
For Art Gallery Day in Saskatchewan. For our long days all summer. For the burdens we want to put down. For the small artworks that bring us joy. SUMMERLIGHT, the newest virtual exhibition at Grasslands Gallery Online, is now available for your viewing pleasure. Featuring artworks by Anne Brochu Lambert, Cory Chad, Ian Goodwin, John Graham, Ernie Klinger, Diane Larouche Ellard, Catherine Macaulay, Laureen Marchand, Edie Marshall, Trevor McDonald, John J. Penner, Dawna Rose, and Betsy Rosenwald. Just click on the exhibition title or here to be taken directly to the show.
We’re using a new virtual gallery for this exhibition. We’d love to know what you think.
And now – ta-dah! – the contest!
On Saskatchewan Art Gallery Day June 11, there are all sorts of exciting events happening across the province at Saskatchewan’s commercial galleries, sponsored by SaskGalleries, the Saskatchewan Professional Art Galleries Association. And Grasslands Gallery Online is taking part with enthusiasm. We’ll have artist talks and studio tours as well as our current exhibition – check back on June 4 for information on how to enjoy those.
We’ll also be taking part in a contest where you have the chance to win a gift certificate worth $500 from SaskGalleries that can be redeemed from any participating commercial art gallery in the province. Though of course we hope you’ll use it with us if you win!
Here’s how to enter. For walk-in galleries, viewers visit one of the galleries between June 4 and June 11 to fill out an entry form. For you as an online viewer at Grasslands Gallery Online, it works a bit differently.
Between June 6 and 11, all you need to do is visit the current virtual exhibition SUMMERLIGHT at https://grasslandsgallery.com/summerlight/ and then sign up for the gallery newsletter, here, to receive early access to our virtual exhibitions, and all the news, with no spam ever. We’ll send you a link to the form. That’s it. Once you follow the link and fill in the form, you’re entered.
We’ll be back next week with information about the artist talks and how to see them. In the meantime, we hope you win!
