A summer in Saskatchewan is like no other, with endless days, expanses, vistas. And yet it also happens in close-up, asking for our attention to our gardens, the wild birds, and the textures of old houses, old dreams and old topography. Thoughts of a Prairie Summer brings together an online art exhibition of beautiful art by outstanding contemporary artists from across Saskatchewan, exploring what summer means to all of us.
Thoughts of a Prairie Summer is also on view in a pop-up version at Prairie Wind & Silver Sage – Friends of Grasslands, in Val Marie SK, Gateway to Grasslands National Park.
